Cookie Policy

This policy explains storage used by the H‑Queex website and your choices about optional analytics. Google Analytics runs only after a visitor selects Accept all. Microsoft Clarity and advertising tracking are not used.

Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small pieces of information a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies can also remember preferences or support website functions. Essential storage supports the service you request; optional analytics measures how a site is used.

Essential preference storage

The first-party hq_consent cookie remembers your choice and the consent version. It contains no name, contact details or visitor identifier. It lasts for 180 days from your most recent choice, unless you clear it sooner. It is used only to remember and apply your preference. If it is absent, expired, unrecognised or blocked by your browser, optional analytics is not authorised and the website may ask you to choose again.

Optional analytics

Accept all authorises optional analytics; Essential only does not. With Accept all, Google Analytics (measurement ID G-NWCDDYG3E1, provided by Google Ireland Limited) loads and sets the _ga and _ga_NWCDDYG3E1 cookies to measure how pages are used. These cookies last up to two years. With Essential only, no request is made to Google and no analytics cookie is set. Selecting Essential only through Cookie Settings withdraws permission, disables measurement immediately and deletes those cookies. Advertising storage and personalisation remain switched off at all times, and no advertising or session-recording service is installed.

Changing your choice

Choose Essential only to use the website without authorising optional analytics. Use Cookie Settings in the footer to reopen the same simple choice at any time. Changing from Accept all to Essential only withdraws permission, stops Google Analytics immediately and deletes its cookies. Website navigation and Register Interest remain available regardless of your choice. Clearing browser cookies also removes the saved preference.

External resources and providers

Some public pages currently request Google-hosted font resources. This involves a connection to Google to deliver the fonts. With Accept all, Google Analytics is also loaded from googletagmanager.com and measurement data is sent to Google. Google Ireland Limited is the provider; Google may transfer data outside the EEA under its standard contractual clauses. Font delivery is separate from this and is not controlled by the analytics choice. Website hosting and enquiry processing also involve service infrastructure. The Privacy Policy explains these data flows.

Keeping this policy current

This policy will be updated when the technologies used change, including their purposes, providers and storage durations. A change to the consent version requires a new choice before optional analytics is authorised. For questions or requests about personal data, use the contact information in the Privacy Policy.
